We packed our luggage, tools, spare tires, and fuel into the turbo buggies and hit the road. After five stages and 1,700 km, we crossed the entire island of Iceland and conquered the sparsely populated highlands.
The adrenaline rush wasn't just the routes themselves, but also the challenge of managing fuel and bringing the buggies safely back to civilization. Along the way, we had limited access to roadside assistance for technical problems.
Accommodation is in comfortable hotels with breakfast and dinner. We'll take the luggage with us in our buggy.

THE TOUR PROGRAM —
DAY 1- Arrival
The tour manager awaits you in the hotel in Reykjavik where we stay overnight. Dinner and briefing for the tour.
DAY 2- highlands
Stage 1 from Reykjavik into the highlands and overnight in an amazing place where the street ends.
Track Length: 350 KM, approx 8 hours.
DAY 3- to north
Stage 2 to the north most point of Iceland.
Track Length: 350 KM approx 9 hours.
DAY 4- akureyri
Stage 3 to the second largest town in Iceland - Akureyri is an amazing small town in the north.
Track Length: 300 KM, approx 8 hours.
DAY 5- Iceland east
Stage 4 crossing again the Highlands towards Reykjavik which we will arrive on the next day.
Track Length: 400 KM, approx 8 hours.
DAY 6- reykjavik
Stage 5 back to Reykjavik making the 1.700 km full.
Track Length: 300 KM, approx 8 hours.
DAY 7- Departure
Breakfast and hotel checkout until 11 am.

You will receive the Iceland tour information upon booking and before the tour, as well as detailed travel information during the week of arrival.
arrival & departure day
You will stay overnight in Reykjavik on day 1 and from day 6 to 7. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm on the arrival day, followed by a briefing for the tour. On the departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am; the common room is available all day. Airport transfers are not included in the tour price and can be booked via the Gettransfer App, as there is no Uber service in Iceland.

I was initially a bit skeptical because I couldn't really picture what a buggy tour would be like; you can't really go off-roading where I live, but my friends persuaded me to come along.
